Course Description:
Despite amazing advances in medical technology, countless people suffer and die every day from diseases we already know how to prevent and treat. - Inequity in prenatal care
- Data analytics and predictive modeling
- Burnout and depression in medical training
Term project: Evaluate, analyze, redesign, and reassess healthcare systems to address critical societal issues.
Labs: Students will experiment with IOE techniques such as simulation, optimization, data analytics, and predictive modeling (Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, etc.)
